December 2014 Nonprofit Partner:

Seed of Health seeks to improve population health of underserved communities around the world.  Their main objectives are to increase the availability of medical and health care services and to provide health education for the communities we serve.  50% of all net proceeds from the month of December will be donated directly to Seed of Health to help support their mission. Please read on to learn more!
Recognizing the lack of eye care services, Seed of Health is working to open an ophthalmology clinic in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.  They plan to use this clinic both as a medical care facility and as a health education cender to provide both upstream and immediate quality health care services.  The Seed of Health clinic will inspire local ophthalmologists to continue serving their communities rather than seeking better pay and work environment in different countries.
Seed of Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by UC Berkeley students with diverse backgrounds who are collectively passionate about improving the availability and quality of global health care
